Krull Construction is a full-service General Contracting firm with decades of experience delivering institutional and commercial projects throughout Southern Michigan. Our strength lies not only in project management and oversight, but also in our ability to self-perform critical scopes of work-including sitework, excavation, concrete foundations and flatwork, carpentry, and general labor. This hands-on approach allows for greater control over schedules, budgets, and quality, contributing to smoother project delivery. Our clients include the University of Michigan, Eastern Michigan University, and multiple public school districts.

Our Design & Build services offer clients a streamlined alternative to the traditional design-bid-build process. By engaging early with the owner and design team, Krull Construction helps guide the planning and design process to support constructability, functionality, and budget alignment. We've used this model to help owners evaluate different building systems-including pre-engineered metal buildings-to meet aesthetic and operational goals while keeping projects on track financially. Our role is to help bring your vision to life with efficiency, clarity, and collaboration from concept through completion.

Krull Construction offers Construction Management services tailored to the needs of institutional and commercial clients. Acting as an "At Risk" or advisory partner, we guide projects through budgeting, design coordination, and construction. As demonstrated on projects like Karnik Pet Lodge, our Construction Management role may also include self-performing select trades such as earthwork and concrete. Our approach emphasizes transparency, coordination with subcontractors, and alignment with the owner's vision and schedule. We work diligently to deliver projects that meet expectations-on time and within budget.

Self-performance is a core differentiator for Krull Construction. Unlike many general contractors, we maintain in-house crews capable of performing key scopes of work, including earthwork, underground utilities, concrete foundations and flatwork, rough carpentry, and more. This capability provides greater schedule flexibility, quality assurance, and cost control across our projects. Whether acting as a general contractor, subcontractor, or construction manager, our self-performance has consistently allowed us to maintain momentum on complex and fast-tracked jobs throughout our 50+ years in the field.
